A page for people passionate about Live music, and about making sure there is always live music available to the public in Ballarat.
The Keep Live Music Alive in Ballarat page is what it is today because of how it has been utilised by its members. What started out as a petition to keep stages available for live music in Ballarat blossomed into a communication resource for all things local music. When members began sharing information about upcoming gigs and venues began searching for bands on the page wall, the page took on a life of its own.
Having grown from 40 members in February of 2010 to 1,904 members in Feb 2011, administrators are still working hard to keep the page true to what lovers of local live music want.
What members can expect on a weekly basis is updates sharing information on the music available over the next weekend, links to events, photos from gigs and the opportunity to connect with other music lovers, venues and musicians.
